I've been working as a pet sitter for 18 years. Animals have always been my favorite people. I love cats, dogs, mice, reptiles everybody! The only animal I will not babysit are crocodiles. Haha.
Animals are pure. They are honest, down to earth and authentic. What's not to love about that? When they feel safe they can be very affectionate and they open up their heart. For some animals that are rescues that can take time of course but their hearts are just so pure. How can I not fall in love with them?
I do not have a pet at the moment. Maybe 1 day soon! I used to have kitty cats that I adored immensely and I was very broken hearted when they passed. My last Kitty passed in ***. Broke my heart in 2. I had a doggy at 1 point a wired hair terrier. Beautiful boy! My love.

I have been doing this type of work for 18 years so I know dogs like the back of my hand as well as cats. I can pick up exactly what they're feeling by their body language their facial expressions. I'm a empath which is a highly sensitive intuitive person so I am very in tune with the pets that I take care of. The more I spend time with the pet the closer we get emotionally and the pet feels safe. If the client doesn't mind, after a walk I like to give them a soft neck massage and a little back massage and they absolutely love it! They close their eyes and I take it in. I can do medications for the pet but in 18 years of doing this I have never given a shot. So I wouldn't be available for giving shots. Only other types of medication.

Summary.
For house sitting/pet sitting I would get up in the morning at your place and provide a potty break then meal time and fresh water and meds if applicable. If you want me to take them for a morning walk I'd be delighted!
Usually in the mid afternoon I give them a pee break outside. I also play with them give them lots of attention love. That's my favorite part of it! The pee break would also include tossing a ball and having them run after it and catch it to get some exercise.
I normally work remotely so I would also be doing some work remotely from your place.
There can be a later walk in the early evening or pee break whichever you prefer. If it's a pee break in the backyard I am supervising them and it can also include playtime with a ball or them chasing each other whichever works. I also clean up the poo in the backyard. I can water plants if necessary. Add water to the pool if you want.
Get th***** and put it in the designated area that you would like me to put it in the house. Pick up boxes from the front entryway from Amazon or whatever company you have your packages and boxes delivered from.
I always supervise the pets in the backyard especially since there's coyotes in California. That's a must.
With other types of animals it would be still the meal time and petting and loving if they allow me and if there are other types of animals that need exercise perhaps in the living room to walk a bit with my supervision. Sometimes turtles like to walk around with supervision exploring but within limits of course.
Then after we all have dinner if you allow them on the couch we can all go on the couch and watch TV and I can have my arms around them which I love! If they're not allowed on the couch I'll go down on the floor and pet them and cuddle them.
We go for a last pee break before bedtime. They can sleep with me on the bed if you allow that and if not they can sleep in the designated areas whether it's a doggy bed or crate.
