Cody’s Pet Care @ Los Angeles
CodyaGus & Guest's Pets
Hi, I’m Cody, and I’ve been passionate about caring for pets for years. I love the companionship of dogs and cats—they bring joy, discipline, and love into life. Walking, playing, and training pets are some of my favorite ways to bond with them, and I believe the more effort you put into them, the more love and loyalty you get back. I enjoy working through challenges, whether it’s training or solving behavioral issues, and I find immense joy in being part of the happiness pets bring to their families. With experience in training, dog walking, cat sitting, overnight stays, and working at a dog rescue, I’ve encountered a wide variety of animals, each with their own unique personalities, and I love discovering what makes each one special.
I have two dogs and two cats who mean the world to me. My dogs are both Huskies—one full Husky and one mix. They’re full of personality and sass, and while they shed a ton, they’ve taught me patience, discipline, and how to embrace life’s little quirks. My cats, on the other hand, bring a sense of calm and companionship. They remind me of the simple joys of life, whether it’s a good cuddle or just being there for them. I’ve learned so much from my pets about the balance of gentleness and strength, and I love using that experience to care for and connect with other pets.
Skills and qualifications

Other skills
I specialize in working with anxious dogs and those with traumatic or uncertain pasts, particularly rescue dogs. Through fostering and working at a dog rescue, I’ve gained extensive experience helping dogs adjust to new environments and recover both emotionally and behaviorally. I’m skilled in crate training, potty training (for puppies and adult dogs), and teaching basic commands, all with a focus on patience and positive reinforcement. I’ve also handled leash training, reducing pulling, and working with reactive dogs to improve their behavior on walks. My experience includes administering medications, including injections, and helping dogs who struggle with taking pills or treatments. I’ve learned a lot from two professional trainers who mentor me, allowing me to continually refine my skills. I’m also adept at managing boundaries and safely introducing dogs to other pets, including cats, ensuring a smooth adjustment in multi-pet households. With strong situational awareness and a problem-solving mindset, I’m always focused on creating a safe, supportive environment for every pet in my care.

About Cody’s Pet Care
Summary.
Hi, I’m Cody! I provide professional and compassionate in-home pet sitting with experience working with a variety of breeds, ages, and temperaments. With a background in dog training and years working full-time at a rescue, I’m well-equipped to care for dogs with different needs, from energetic pups to seniors and those needing a little extra patience or structure.
During my stays, I’ll make sure your pets feel safe, comfortable, and cared for, providing:
• One to two walks per day (adjusted to your pet’s needs)
• Regular potty breaks and playtime
• Feeding, medication administration, crate routines, and other care needs
• Behavioral support, training reinforcement, or calming routines if needed
Since pet care is my full-time profession, I do have other walks and visits scheduled throughout the day, as well as pets of my own to check on briefly. This means your pet will need to be comfortable being alone for a few hours at a time. I always communicate schedules clearly, and if your pet requires additional visits during the day, I can accommodate them with flexible add-on options.
If your pet thrives on structure, play, or just plenty of affection, I’m here to tailor care to their unique needs. Let’s chat about how I can provide peace of mind and happy tails while you’re away!
