I am a biologist by training, a responsible graduate student and a crazy-dog-lady whenever I get to be next to a furred friend!
I’ve been an animal lover since I was a kid. My mother always tells the story that when I was a little girl when someone asked me if I wanted to have kids one day, I used to tell them I was gonna have dogs instead.
After taking care of some friends’ pets and receiving lots of positive feedback I decided to finally put some of my animal knowledge at use and make this a low key business with the gift of filling my daily quota of puppies-time!
Though currently I do not have a pet of my own, I have been a dog momma since I was 8 years old. Laika, my first dog, was a mix breed between a German Sheppard and some sort of mutt, which you could totally tell by her loyalty, calm and protective behaviors. We got her from the streets of Brazil, where I used to live and she was my companion and best friend ever since. She passed away in her sleep after living 13 happy and healthy years with us. We also had an energetic poodle named Jessie and another smaller mutt called Lindinha who were both lovey companions to Laika and to my other human family members.
I also owned a bird, two kittens, gerbils and a guinea pig.
