I have been around pets all of my life, and I am a HUGE animal lover!
As I was growing up we owned Rottweilers, labs, and English bulldogs. I personally had an Akita/border collie mix while I was in college at UNT. I have experience with all sizes of dogs. Where I currently babysit, they have 2 chihuahuas, I have watched dogs for family, friends, and through references and I am completely comfortable with any type of care needed.

Summary.
I am more than comfortable with taking pets on walks and/or runs. I go on runs daily and love having a little companion along the way. I always make sure the dog is well hydrated before, during, and after the walk/run especially in the heat during this time of year. The time of the walk/run varies from dog to dog, but I normally have them out for at least 30 minutes but am more than willing to stay out longer. I am also comfortable with pet sitting at your home and taking your pet out for potty breaks and playing with them. If your dog is on a specific feeding schedule, then I can also help with the feeding.
