Simsbury Julia Dog Walking @ Simsbury

by Julia

  Simsbury, Connecticut | Dog Walking

I have always loved animals and can't imagine not being around them or spending time without them. I recently graduated from UCONN with a BA in ecology and evolutionary biology and plan to work with animals however I can.
When I was born we had a black cat whom we loved very much. Over the years I have had many pets including other cats, crayfish, African dwarf clawed frogs, Syrian and Roborovskii hamsters, and leopard geckos. Today I take care of my two leopard geckos (both male) and I help take care of our two cats (both female). I love animals and can't imagine not having pets of course but with my parents I have been limited with I have been allowed to have in the house. From a young age I liked to keep caterpillars to help them grow up and helped care for animals around the house and inside it, gaining knowledge and interest about all of the wildlife nearby. As I continued my education I learned more about animals and which pets are easier to take care of (cats, hamsters, leopard geckos) and which are harder (crayfish that had trouble molting for the first time, and the frogs which are strictly aquatic).
