Hi ! I am Khalida, an international student from Malaysia. I’m currently doing my masters in medical life science in Kiel. I am a pet lover ever since I can remember. I am constantly surrounded by animals throughout my whole life especially cats. At home my family and I have2 cats and we also take care of any stray cats that comes by as well. Pets just bring sunshine to my life, they make me so happy with their antics and cute behaviours. I also love helping pets in need. I have a soft spot for every animal.
Growing up I have taken care of more than 20 cats. I have2 cats that permanently stay at my home (my2 babies) and I’ve had more than 20 strays cats in my lifetime that I’ve taken care of. I’ve also experienced taking care of kittens and young cats til they grow up, as well as sick cats :)
When I was doing my bachelors in the UK I’ve also cat sit for other people, so I’m used to cats that are unfamiliar with me and I get along with them very well :) They also remember me whenever I visit them again even after a couple of years. I’ve also pet-sit guinea pigs before.
I am an all out animal lover. Cat sitting is actually a pleasure for me because I love spending time with cats. I am attentive to the cat I’m taking care of and always give my attention to them, so I know what it is they need. So far in my experience also cats love me :) I don’t know what it is, but I always get along with every cat I cat-sit.
Being around animals for me is a healing process. I don’t feel like its “work”. It’s more of me having a good time with a good companion.

I know basic tell-tale signs of cat’s behaviour for example when they have their frenzies and zoomies. Also signs that they are sick or want something. I am also experienced with giving medicine to cats, pills or fluids, changing dressings etc as I’ve taken care of many stray cats with various problems before.
