depending on the animal this can vary but I will ensure the they get proper exercise, nutrition and are healthy as that will always remain as my key number one focus always. the next thing to observe them and pick for subtle signs that may not look normal which is required incase of emergencies or problems that could snowball into other ones that couldeve been prevented . the next thing I'd focus on is if they are having a good time and mentally present, this can take time but for an experienced individual like me with pets it quicker than usual.
