Hi there! My name is Brooke and I’m a life long animal lover. Since my senior rescue cat crossed the rainbow bridge, I’ve been fostering for VOKRA. I’ve fostered the full gamut of cases from high energy juveniles, adults with behavioural issues, high anxiety cats, to full litters of kittens. After boarding for friends and then friends of friends, I’ve come to really enjoy offering cats a little home-away-from-home vacation.
Growing up on a farm, I’ve been caring for animals as long as I can remember. I’m experienced with hand rearing kittens, administering medication, senior cat care, and cats with special needs.
I board cats on a one-on-one basis, only bringing in one family unit at a time. Cats who board at my home get lots of quality time, in whatever quantity they prefer. They have full range of my apartment since I don’t have any cats of my own at the moment. I offer a top floor apartment with a large window full of bird activity (ie. cat TV). My home is obviously fully cat-safe, according to VOKRA’s high standards.
My biggest goal is is to ensure your cat feels safe, loved, and cared for during their stay. I achieve this through engaging playtime, their regularly schedule mealtimes, fresh water, clean litter, and providing whatever level of attention they would like. I adjust my care and level of engagement to each cats particular needs, with their comfort my top priority.
