Hi there! My name is Eve, and I’m a lifelong animal lover with over 15 years of hands-on experience caring for a variety of pets. Growing up, I was lucky enough to share my life with my beloved childhood dog, who was by my side for 15 wonderful years. That deep bond taught me so much about loyalty, empathy, and the pure joy that animals bring into our lives. Since then, caring for animals has become second nature to me—something I genuinely love and feel passionate about.

Over the years, I’ve had the pleasure of looking after a range of dog breeds, including staffys, kelpies, Maltese shih tzus, and golden retrievers. I’m comfortable with dogs of all sizes, temperaments, and energy levels—from excitable working breeds to cuddly lap dogs. I understand that each dog has their own unique personality and needs, and I take the time to build trust, follow routines, and ensure they feel safe, loved, and stimulated while you’re away.

I also have experience caring for cats and guinea pigs, and I know how important it is to respect their boundaries, routines, and preferred environments. Whether your cat is the independent type or loves a good cuddle, I’ll adapt my care to suit their temperament. Guinea pigs hold a special place in my heart too—I’ve spent many hours preparing fresh veggie treats, cleaning enclosures, and enjoying their cute little squeaks.

I truly understand the emotional connection we have with our pets, and I know that leaving them in someone else’s care can feel nerve-wracking. That’s why I take my responsibility as a sitter seriously. I treat every animal in my care as if they were my own—with gentleness, patience, and plenty of affection. I also provide regular updates and photos, so you can relax knowing your pet is happy and well cared for.

Since losing my childhood dog, I’ve found myself gravitating toward pet sitting as a way to stay connected with the animal world and share the love and care I still have to give.
