Ever since I can remember, I have always been around and loved animals. My parents were very influential in teaching me to love and care for them and how to read their body language. I love being around animals because they give me a sense of joy to be with and make me feel like life is good.
I started pet sitting when I was in elementary school, when our neighbors would go on vacation I would care for their dogs, fish, and cats. When I was about seven years old my Labrador Retriever at the time had puppies and it was my job to help take care of them. Once they got a little older we gave them to friends and family but kept one named Elliot. Since I raised Elliot since the second he was born, I learned how to care for dogs of any age but have more experience with middle aged to elderly dogs. Over the years I have cared for a variety of different animals such as snakes, lizards, big and little dogs, cats, birds, and turtles. Currently my family has four dogs (a Chihuahua Jack Russel mix, a dachshund poodle, a Labdradoodle Basset hound, and a Wheaten Poodle mix) that we adopted, a craw-fish, and a beta fish.
